Madosz: the quality of tobacco is better than last year

The quality of the tobacco produced this season is expected to be better than last year, and the quantity will be good as well – the president of the National Association of Hungarian Tobacco Producers (MADOS) told MTI on Monday.

Bényei Illés said on Monday the Nyíregyháza-based Universal Leaf Tobacco started to purchase the harvested Virginia-type tobacco from the producers, while the Dofer Tobacco Fermentation Ltd., based in Szolnok, has been accepting delivery since mid-August. (MTI)
