Avian influenza: the government has to take measures to avoid market loss
The government is investigating the possibility of further measures, because in addition to the current measures the market participants, such as poultry processors need more help.
Lázár János Minister leading the Prime Minister’s Office said that, if the government do not take additional measures, new players will enter the Hungarian market of processors.
According to previous decisions, the government fully reimburses the direct losses due to bird flu. In addition, the government decided recently to give an additional 1.5 billion HUF de minimis income maintenance support. (agrarszektor.hu)
