Mabisz: the highest amount of agricultural-damage relief is available only with insurance
The producer receives 100 percent of the aid awarded from the compensation fund only if the producer has market insurance, otherwise the producer can only expect a 50 percent reimbursement – the announcement of the Hungarian Association of Insurers (Mabisz) called attention.
The association pointed out that since the introduction of the premium support system in 2012, farmers could receive up to 65 percent of the premium for the subsidized circle as post support. Insurance premium support can be requested on the e-administration interface of the Hungarian State Treasury (MÁK). Applications can be submitted between 9 April and 15 May. (MTI)
