Lower prices in Lidl stores from January
From 1 January 2018 the VAT on pork and fish reduces from 27 to 5 percent. In practice this means 17 percent lower pork and fish consumer prices. Judit Tőzsér, Lidl Hungary’s head of company communication informed that they will implement the price decrease in full, what is more, in the case of certain products the consumer price will be 22 percent lower than before. Lidl Hungary hopes that this step will make high-quality pork and fish available to more consumers than before. //
