London analysts: it may cost a thousand pounds per household if the EU duty-free status ceases
London’s financial analysts say that if, after the expiration of the British EU membership, customs duties appear in the UK’s and the European Union’s total duty-free trade it will cost one thousand pounds a year for every British households.
According to a study by the London department of the Oliver Wyman, global corporate consultancy firm, there is no Brexit scenario that would not increase the cost of British households to some extent. The study will be released next week, but the BBC has already provided preliminary details on Monday. (Kertész Róbert, MTI)
