London analysts: British GDP could fall by 18 percent in April
The British Bureau of Statistics (ONS) will release the latest growth estimates on Friday.
One of London’s largest business analysts, Pantheon Macroeconomics, in its forecast scenario presented to the ONS for data release on Tuesday, recalls that the Composite Purchasing Managers ’Index (PMI), which measures activity in key sectors of the UK economy, decreased from the 36.0 in March to 13.8 in April.
