Horse Meat Scandal: horse meat found in another French products
The Panzani company belonging to the Spanish Ebro group announced on Tuesday that horse meat was found in the company’s canned ravioli products marketed in France. The product was prepared by a subcontractor named William Saurin.
The product was immediately withdrawn from the market. The Panzani gave detailed information to the consumers through its call center: what to do, who will refund the purchase price of the products. The Panzani indicated that this problem only affects raviolis in other meat products no horse meat was found. (MTI)
