Horse Meat Scandal – The Nébih is investigating in the case of horse meat found in England with Hungarian origin
The National Food Chain Safety Office (Nébih) conducts an investigation in the case of Hungarian origin shipment of horse meat found in Britain – Kardeván Endre, Minister of State of the Ministry of Rural Development (VM), responsible for food chain safety and agri-management told journalists on Monday in Budapest.
The Minister of State said that the indication arrived via the European Union's rapid alert system (RASFF). According to the indication, cubed packaged product is affected labeled as beef, however, it is a hundred percent horse meat. (MTI)
