Horse Meat-Lasagne will be distributed to the Swedish homeless
The Swedish Axfood food retail chain is distributing five tons of frozen lasagne containing horse meat to the homeless people of Stockholm.
The Axfood was one of those companies that took the lasagnes produced by Findus off the shelves, because horse meat was detected by the food safety inspectors in them previously – the Swedish edition of the The Local's English-language news portal wrote.
The company received the permission of the Swedish government to distribute the lasagne. The first shipment of lasagne will be distributed to the the needy on Friday.
