Logistics Association: Hungary will become a regional distribution center

According to the Association of Logistics Service Centers (Logisztikai Szolgáltató Központok Szövetsége), Hungary will become a regional e-commerce distribution center in the Central European region; in the second half of 2021, 90 percent of low-value packages cleared through customs in Hungary were targeted at other EU member states.

In a statement sent to MTI on Friday, the association emphasized at the International Transport Logistics Conference in Herceghalom that Hungary had excellent potential to be a regional distribution center for goods ordered from outside the European Union, but labor shortages were a problem. (MTI)
