Logistics and Purchasing excellences were awarded

The Logistics Manager of the Year, the Purchasing Manager of the Year as well as the Logistics Excellence Award titles were handed over at the annual congress of the Hungarian Logistics, Purchasing and Inventory Association (MLBKT).

The Logistics Manager of the Year became Urbán Attila, manager of the CLAAS Hungaria Kft. supply chain, who was working on several process improvement and cost efficiency tasks successfully in recent years.

The Purchasing Manager of 2013 became Oláh Sándor, the commodity manager of Schneider Electric. The winner is working for Schneider for 17 years. He strengthens the group’s procurement team since 2001.

This year's Logistics Excellence Award was won by the Mosonmagyaróvár-based SMR Hungary, Europe's largest manufacturing base of automobile rearview mirrors.
