Logistics, catering and trade – these are the best paying student jobs
Based on the data of the ELTE-Trenkwalder School Association, the average hourly wage for summer student jobs advertised so far in agriculture is HUF 1,400, while production, logistics, catering and commercial tasks are 1,600-1,750 HUF, and in business service centers, call centers or IT areas HUF 2,000 you can earn above – the employment agency told MTI on Thursday.
Nóra Páli, head of student services at Trenkwalder, said:
“Employers make the basic hourly wages offered for the summer period more attractive in many areas with additional benefits such as shift allowance, attendance bonuses for a minimum of 2-3 shifts per week, or transportation by company bus between the place of residence and the workplace.”
The information reveals that in the first four months of the year, the average hourly wage of the students they mediated was 1,770 forints, which was 18 percent higher than the 1,505 forints a year earlier.
