The future of logistics: automated tools for speed and security
Self-driven trucks, automated warehouses, vehicle tracking, drons – these are not from a Hollywood science fiction film, but are the logistical solutions of the future. With the spread of these tools, the international and domestic freight will be more efficient, safer and faster.
The Logistics Day was held on April 27 and the WebEye telematics company gave an insight into the solutions that can change the logistic processes of the future.
WebEye estimates that in the next 5 to 10 years there will be a significant transformation in the transport industry, driven by more efficient decision-making processes that respond to informations that is always and everywhere and to the growing demand for data, generated by customers.
