LMP: an explosion of food prices about to come
Due to the drought of the past two years, food-prices are about to rise, and this phenomenon might even lead to an explosion of food-prices, LMP's spokeperson pointed out within the compass of their press conference on Sunday.
Analysts said the higher crude goods prices will be spilling into the cost of consumer goods and likely eventually push the key inflation indicator, the consumer price index, higher. The party is convinced that the current situation requires state-help, which may include VAT-changes, too.
