Catalan brewery Damm has launched a limited-edition range of Estrella Damm cans and bottles to celebrate its 150th anniversary, set to roll out across the UK and international markets from early April.

The seven designs highlight iconic locations in Barcelona to reflect the brand’s Mediterranean heritage and global appeal.

Founded in 1876 by August Kuentzmann Damm, the company has built its identity around the culture, lifestyle, and brewing traditions of its home city.

For the UK market, Estrella Damm is brewed at the Eagle Brewery in Bedford, following the 1876 recipe.

Barcelona Landmarks Inspire Anniversary Collection

The limited-edition packaging features a series of designs inspired by landmarks in Barcelona, including La Sagrada Família, Camp Nou and the historic Old Damm Brewery, ESM Magazine reports.

The bottle designs also showcase Barcelona’s beaches, festivals, skyline and the La Boqueria food market, aiming to underline the city’s cultural and gastronomic significance.

The company said the collection reflects its focus on sport, gastronomy and the arts, which continue to shape the brand’s identity.

Anniversary Campaign

The anniversary range will be available in multiple formats, including 330 ml bottles and 440 ml cans, across select UK retailers for a limited period.

To support the launch, Damm is also introducing a consumer competition offering 150 prizes, including a trip to Barcelona with a visit to its El Prat brewery.

Luke White, managing director of Damm UK, added, “These limited-edition designs are more than just collectible bottles and cans, they’re a celebration of 150 years of brewing heritage and Mediterranean culture.

“Each of these designs tells a story about Barcelona, about our history and about the values that have made Estrella Damm a global brand. We’ve stayed true to our commitment to quality, craftsmanship and connection to our way of life.”
