Lidl success in the US market
Lidl will continue to expand on the American market – napi.hu wrote. The chain can grow relatively large from the small player in the retail market there. It is only now that they are beginning to really lay the groundwork for enlargement.
With ten thousand stores worldwide – more than 180 stores in Hungary – Lidl, together with Aldi, successfully broke into the UK a few years ago. The U.S. market was also targeted, but the first round went rather poorly for Lidl, but according to the latest data, it appears that Lidl has managed to develop a better strategy for the second run.
