Lidl Germany Expands Its Banana Assortment
German discounter Lidl has expanded its banana assortment with the addition of three new varieties, two of which are Fairtrade-certified.
From summer 2019, customers can buy these new varieties in all Lidl stores throughout Germany..
Moreover, the discounter is adding conventional Rainforest Alliance-certified bananas to its range and selling them at an entry-level price in order to meet the customer demand for affordable sustainability.
