Lidl to invest 200 million euros in Ireland
Lidl is going to invest EUR 200 million in Ireland in the months to come. One of the development projects is building a new distribution centre in Newbridge from EUR 80 million. Construction works will start next month. Lidl operates 154 discount supermarkets in Ireland and already has a 10-percent share in grocery retail sales. Last year Lidl sold Irish products in the value of more than EUR 700 million.
