Lidl: Sustainable store and daycare facility in one

German discounter Lidl has started building a sustainable store with a daycare facility in Bietigheim-Bissingen. The upper floor of the store will house a 1,400m² daycare centre with modern facilities and enough playing area for about 62 children. The new store will not rely on fossil fuels for its energy requirements.
