Lidl to donate over 250,000 meals in the Christmas run-up
Lidl has pledged to donate over 250,000 meals to local charities and community groups Lidl has pledged to donate over 250,000 meals to local charities and community groupsbetween November 6 and December 25 2019.
The donation will be part of the 4.3 million meals the German discounter has given away to date.
A total of 1500 local community projects have benefited from Lidl’s food surplus redistribution programme, Feed It Back.
Lidl’s Feed It Back network helps local organisations keep up to date with the food that is available and can pick it up from the grocer when they need it.
