Lidl is developing the fastest in the British market
Lidl has been the fastest developing retailer in the United Kingdom for five consecutive quarters. Lidl’s sales increased by 15.1 percent last year. The discount supermarket chain now has a 5.2-percent market share. Aldi’s sales performance improved by 13.1 percent in the same period; Tesco is still the market leader with a 28-percent market share.
