Lidl donates fruit and veg bags to thousands of NHS staff to keep them healthy
The budget supermarket chain has partnered with Royal Voluntary Service charity to donate bags of fresh produce to hospitals across the UK
The supermarket chain has teamed up with Royal Voluntary Service to ensure frontline workers have access to healthy produce as they battle coronavirus.
The bags will be delivered directly to NHS workers at hospitals nationwide, following reports that panic buyers are causing shortages for them.
Many supermarkets across the UK, including Tesco and Asda, have launched dedicated shopping hours for the NHS.
