Duck instead of goose

In recent years, the duck sector accelerated, gaining mainly the market of geese producers – found out at the professional conference organized on the occasion of the Duck Day on Friday in Szentes.

In 2009, in Hungary, 18.3 million ducks were slaughtered in the plants, of which 16.7 million were roast ducks 1.6 million were animals breed for their liver. Twenty-one thousand tons of the produced more than 42 thousand tons of duck was exported. This is a 21 percent increase compared to the datas of the year earlier – reports Világgazdaság Online.
