Kraft Completes Acquisition of Groupe Danone's Global Biscuit Business
The acquisition includes biscuit operations and assets in more than 20 countries, including 32 manufacturing facilities.
Kraft said that the addition of Danone's biscuit business will transform the company's international business into a stronger contributor to revenue growth. Biscuits will also become the company's largest global business, representing approximately 20% of total Kraft revenues.
Kraft Foods Inc, a global leader in branded foods and beverages works in 155 countries, yearly sales is USD 34 billions. Due to the acquisition the company in Hungary has to sell the chocolate brand Balaton.
