Hungarians like soup
The domestic housewives rather prepare dishes by using seasoning cubes and base foods than ordering from a restaurant.
According to the recent survey of MAGGI, Hungarian housewives have time to cook three or four times a week. Soup is an essential course on Sundays at almost every household, but in two-thirds of the households soup is one of the courses several times a week.
Twenty-five percent of the respondents are only cooking at weekends, but 50 percent of them take time to prepare a hot meal for their family three or four times a week.
