Prices jump up in Latvia
In the 27 member states of EU according to the harmonized data the annual inflation was 4.2% in September 2008 compared to September 2007.
The lowest annual rates were observed
in the Netherlands (2.8%) as well as Germany (3.0%), and the highest
in Latvia (14.7%) and Bulgaria (11.4%). The price rise in Hungary was
5.6% which is higher than the average of EU.
