Inflation fastest in Latvia
Consumer prices were up by 1.7 percent on average in the EU-27 countries in February 2009, compared to 2008. Inflation was slowest in Ireland and Portugal (0.1 percent) and fastest in Latvia (9.4 percent) and Lithuania.
