Latvia in the top
Consumer prices were up by 4.2 percent on average in the EU-27 countries in September 2008, compared to 2007. Inflation was lowest in the Netherlands, at 2.8 percent and highest in Latvia (14.7 percent) and Bulgaria (11.4 percent). Inflation in Hungary was 5.6 percent.
