Hungary's largest FMCG distributor was established
Hungary's largest FMCG distributor was established. The Zagreb-based Orbico Group purchased the majority of the shares in the Rafinanz Service Kft. in Hungary – Rafinanz Service Kft. announced on Wednesday.
The Orbico Group is currently the largest FMCG distributor in the Central Eastern European region. In 2011, the group had a more than 800 million euros turnover. The group employs nearly 2,300 employees and has more than 50 distribution partners. The company distributes 200 world brands to nearly 30 thousand partners in more than 56 thousand retail and wholesale units.
As the result of the transaction, the name of the Rafinanz Service Kft. was changed to RafinanzOrbico Kft. (MTI)
