There will be enough melon on the markets

The domestic melon season has started with the honeydew melon, in the next two weeks the watermelon will also arrive to the stores. The participants of the domestic melon market plan to maintain an online connection in order to the rapid delivery of the ordered, harvested and packaged items.

The melon growers reported start of the season to the stores, that they can be prepared on time for the reception of Hungarian arable fruit.

Fodor Attila, communications director of the CBA supermarket chain said that they are prepared to supply the market from domestic sources. Right after the domestic melon appears on the market the chain will distribute entirely Hungarian melons. (hirado.hu, Kossuth Rádió – Krónika)
