Anthrax has been detected in a beef in Heves county
On Saturday, the Veterinary Diagnostic Directorate of the National Food Chain Safety Office (Nébih) found anthrax in beef at a slaughter house in Heves county – the Nébih informed MTI on Monday.
The meat from the infected animal was collected and destroyed by the authority.
A man is treated in Gyöngyös with the symtoms of skin anthrax, he was infected via an injured when cutting the meat of the infected cattle. (MTI)
