Poland: fewer transactions but growing retail sales
🎧 Hallgasd a cikket:
In Poland the number of completed transactions in the retail sector fell from 5 to 3 in the first eight months of 2011. Rather surprising data, considering that retail statistics forecast growth for 2011: sales are expected to reach the PLN 421-billion level, growing by 7.4 percent. Our opinion is that the number of transactions will increase in 2011. Recommendations for the retail sector: 5-percent VAT on agricultural products, books, certain periodicals and IN SOME CASES the dividend tax is 0 percent.
