Poland would raise a fence on its eastern border due to African swine pest
The Polish government would build a fence along Poland’s eastern borders to prevent further spread of African swine pest (ASP) – Krzysztof Jurgiel Polish Minister announced at Press Conference in Warsaw, jointly held with the EU Commissioner Vytenis Andriukaitis.
Vytenis Andriukaitis, EU Health and Food Safety Commissioner, on Monday discussed about the spread of ASP in Warsaw with the representatives of EU Member States and with the representatives of Belarus, Russia and Ukraine.
The fence will be raised on the Polish-Ukrainian and the Polish-Belarus border sections. (MTI, Lucie Szymanowska)
