The Hungarian economy expanded by 1.2 percent last year
Contrary to the preliminary estimate of the expected 1.7 to 1.8 percent, Hungarian economy expanded by 2 percent in the last three months of last year. The annual increase was 1.2 percent.
According to the flash estimate of the Central Statistical Office (KSH) and Ecostat, on an annual comparision, Hungary’s GDP grew by 2 percent in the final quarter of the last year. By adjusting the calendary effects, the measured data shows a 1.8 percent expansion – reported the Central Statistical Office (KSH) on Tuesday morning – reports Origo.
