Trade betwwen EU and China accelerates
The trade of the European Union and China expanded in this year's first half: the exports of the 27 member countries to China increased to 53 billion euros, between January-June compared to last year's 37 billion – published Eurostat.
The EU imports increased to 125 billion, from 103 billion in this year's first half. The EU trade deficit increased to 71 billion, from the former 65 billion euros.
In the first half of the year, China was the EU's second largest trading partner, after the United States. The Asian country's share in the exports of the 27-s is 8.5 percent, the share of imports is 17.8 percent – reports privatbankar.hu.
