McCafé in swing

Despite the negative economic effects in 2008 the sales in McCafé chain, with 25 units, has increased by 20%.

 At coffee-shop-chain of the McDonald's
in the passed ten months 2.2 million guests were served. It is 20%
more, as at similar period of the the preceding year. The
network-expansion is continuing in 2009, next year the home largest
coffee-shop-chain will expand with 8-10 new ones.

Sales in the McCafés exceeded to
HUF 620 million forints in the passed ten months, this means 38%
increment as compared to period of the the preceding year including
(the new restaurants.)

McCafé is present in Hungary
since 2003. In average they make 7% of gross turnover at McDonald's
restaurant, but the must successful ones made 20-25% of it.
