Drugstore chain dm operates 259 units in Hungary, which realised EUR 302-million sales in the 2016-2017 fiscal year. Sales were up 10 percent from the base period. The dmBio organic product range won the Green Brand prize and became Product of the Year. Once again dm was named the most attractive workplace in 2017 in the retail category. The store modernisation programme continued: 45 drugstores went through an overhaul and 6 new dm shops opened. dm managed to remain the market leader in Hungary, on average every 3rd facial care and decorative cosmetic product, plus every 4th body care product was purchased in a dm store. In 2018 dm’s CSR programme ‘Together for each other’ supports 25 NGOs with HUF 500,000. //
