Poultry sector gains momentum

In 2015 the poultry sector was responsible for 13.3 percent of the country’s agricultural output. The sector’s poultry breeding performance improved by 8 percent last year. 50,000-60,000 people work in the sector that produces a value of HUF 400 billion in base material and HUF 800 billion if processed products are considered.
