Andrea Istenesné Solti, Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of Shell Hungary, resigns from her position
Shell Hungary zRt. announces that Andrea Istenesné Solti, the company’s Chairman of the Board, will leave the energy company on 30 September 2025, after more than 32 years of service.
Andrea Istenesné Solti joined the Shell Group in 1993 after graduating from Corvinus University of Budapest. She began her career in the Livewire Hungary program supporting the development of local communities, and then worked in numerous domestic and international management positions at the company during her decades-long career. She was appointed Chairman of the Board of Shell Hungary zRt. in 2020.
From the beginning of her career, she’s been an active shaper of the company’s values and vision. She played an important role in strengthening Shell’s position in Hungary and the region. Under his leadership, Shell’s global gas trading business in Hungary was strengthened, marked by long-term agreements, and Shell Hungary’s energy transition strategy was born, one of the most important milestones of which is the establishment of a national electric charging network in our country by 2025.
