Recycling may be viable!
The Budafilter94 Kft. started to develop its GREENPET, PET collection and recycling system, based on the shrinking of the bottles in 2002, after the company won the Green Apple 2012 Award.
The system is based on a household shrink device, protected by patent. The company has spent 300 million HUF of their own resources to create the system. From the recycled plastic of the PET bottles they produce tape and molded products.
The Hungarian company implementing Hungarian innovations received a grant of 100 million HUF from the government's economic operational program. The foundation-stone ceremony of the new plant took place on 14 January in Mezőfalva, with the participation of Dr. Illés Zoltán, Minister of State, L.Simon László Government Commissioner and Simon Lajos Managing Director.
