Meat, coffee and mineral water retail sales increased
According to Nielsen market research company; The value of food retail sales rose by 2 percent, between December 2008 and November 2009, compared with the previous comparable period.
In quantity, Nielsen registered a minus 1.5 percent between December 2008 and November 2009 at retail sales, compared with the previous same period.
The rate of turnover growth slowed, but the rate of decrease in volume improved: while between December 2007 and November 2008 3.5 percent less food was sold than a year earlier.
