Fruits and oil seeds were most expensive
In December 2007 the producer price level of agricultural products rose by 38.1 percent, compared to the corresponding month of the previous year.
The price level of crops and horticultural products was higher by
62.5 percent, while that of animals and animal products increased by only 11.8 percent. In the
whole year 2007 the average price level of agriculturalproducts was higher by 22.2 percent,
which was a result of the price increase of crops and horticultural products by 40.5 percent
and that of animals and animal products by 3.6 percent.
In the same period the input price
level of agricultural production rose by 14.2 percent compared to the previous year.
