Waitrose launches private label free-range creams
Waitrose & Partners has introduced new free-range cream products to its private label range, further demonstrating its commitment to higher animal welfare standards. The new cream selection will appear under the Waitrose Essentials and Waitrose own brands. In the new products the milk comes from cows that graze outdoors for at least 183 days a year – it is estimated that 5% of the country’s livestock still kept indoors all year round.
