Half of most of the ice cream is air
According to the assesment of the German consumer magazine Stiftung Warentest; most of the volume of ice-cream is air. The vanilla ice cream of Haagen-Dazs became the best ice cream on the list.
Stiftung Warentest tested twenty-two ice creams, including many of vanilla ice cream, that can be purchased in Hungary. The most surprising result was the measurement of the air content of the ice cream. During the producing of ice creams the product is foamed. The test tested the amount of air added to the ice cream. In the case of the Haagen-Dazs product, this value is only 22 percent, while at all other ice cream 100 percent – reports Kreatív Online.
