Leberkäse: available from OMV wells from April
Visitors to OMV Hungária’s shops will be able to taste not just any sandwich from April. Austria’s big favorite, Leberkäse, is available at the company’s 43 filling stations. The meatbread that forms the basis of the delicacy is made from minced pork and bacon after special seasoning. It is a sandwich with a really long tradition, as some written memories date back to the 18th century. It is mentioned at the end of the 19th century, about 250 years ago, and has been very popular in Austria ever since.
