Kroger and Walgreens stop selling e-cigarettes
Kroger Co and Walgreens Boots Alliance Inc have announced they stop selling e-cigarettes at their stores, as there is heightened regulatory scrutiny of the product, following reports of lung disease and some deaths linked to vaping. Their step comes weeks after Walmart Inc said it was discontinuing e-cigarette sales, citing growing federal, state and local regulatory complexity and uncertainty.
