Promotion of the year 2010, gold medal: Lazurán, Trilak Lazurán – We love wood
Lazurán is devoted to protecting trees and the environment. Their credo is: if users treat their wooden objects instead of replacing them, they protect many trees from being cut down. Their 2010 campaign promoted this way of thinking and aimed at increasing their market share, building their brand and expanding distribution. After sending in 8 SMS messages buyers were given a pair of painter pants and there were prizes drawn too, e.g. a Toyota. Lazurán even organised a special event: Hug a Tree Day was so successful that it resulted in a Guinness record and 6,053 fans on Facebook. The Lazurán brand became 23-percent more well-known in comparison with the previous year (Source: TNS). Their market share grew on a stagnating market and Lazurán’s distribution expanded by 14 percent.
