János Lázár: huge changes can come in the Hungarian food industry
Hungary would be able to feed 20 million people, but it can’t even provide for itself, so it needs imports in the food industry, said Government Commissioner János Lázár on Radio 7’s Thursday program. According to the politician, the food industry in Hungary is facing a change of era.
Hungary would be able to supply 20 million people, but it does not even supply itself: it needs imports in the food industry, said János Lázár. According to the government commissioner, we should strive for self-sufficiency and for the country to be able to supply food beyond the border areas, the Promenad wrote.
According to the politician, the reception of ideas is favorable, therefore the government will reallocate large resources to the food industry in the future. In 10 years, Hungary must not only be a high-tech country in the automotive industry, but also produce good quality and extra food. As the government commissioner put it, the food industry is facing an era change.
