János Lázár: logistics is key for Hungary
The changes taking place in the world do not only represent difficulties and economic challenges, but also create opportunities; logistics and mobility are key for Hungary – said the Minister of Construction and Transport at the international conference of the Hungarian Hydrogen Technology Association on Thursday in Budapest.
János Lázár highlighted: the country’s geopolitical position has significantly increased in value, taking advantage of this logistical advantage, Hungary must assume the role of a permeable sluice between the West and the East.
The minister called it a strategic task to make Hungary an industrial center capable of responding to the automotive challenges of the 21st century. That is why the Hungarian automotive industry capacities are being turned towards electromobility, but at the same time, it is also necessary to open up to the new industries of the future, so the government considers cooperation with the hydrogen association important – he explained.
Hungary can only remain a strong automotive industry base if it opens up to the most modern technologies, this can be a competitive advantage – emphasized János Lázár.
