Csaba Latorcai: tourism can only be developed by taking local needs into account
The development of tourism can only take place by taking into account the needs of the local residents – emphasized Csaba Latorcai, Parliamentary State Secretary of the Prime Minister’s Office responsible for territorial development, in Hegymagas, at the XXVIII. At the opening ceremony of St. George’s Hill Days.
Csaba Latorcai emphasized that the mountain and the region have become well-known during the last three decades in connection with the event.
As he said, the government recognizes the producers’ efforts, providing HUF 75 billion in support for their work. In the next seven years, HUF 4,400 billion EU funds will be allocated to rural development, he added.
As he said, from the second half of the year, agricultural and rural development subsidies corresponding to the challenges of the age will be announced, which are meant to develop the Tapolca region and the Balaton region.
Grapes and wine are the gift of the mountain, one can feel at home in the wonderful natural environment created by the witness mountains – he emphasized.
